killed by a door

i have to ask, has anyone else ever been killed by a door?
I wass in assemanu opening upo the slave door and then it jit me and i died! WTF MATE? uh well it was really funny

Well, I went through a door, nearly died, lost all my fatigue, and I could never rise again... He just lied there still. I thought it was just like your fatigue's gone and you get hit by hand-to-hand, but, well, he couldn't rise. :/

I had the same experience, I was waiting to get up but you can wait the rest of your life cause he (or she) is never getting up. Probably a bug.

I just get stuck in them a lot... Mainly because of the NPCs. They don't know how to move out of the way and I often get stuck inside of rooms because I can't open the frigging door. It's funny to shut the door on NPCs as they walk through the door, and then the door and the character both start spasming, and they can't get out. Actually, it's not that great. But it makes me happy to get revenge. Stupid people...

I've never gotten killed by a door, but I was killed by a light once. I was jumping about in one of Mage's Guild, I can't remember which. But I accidentely jumped into one of the lights on the ceiling, and, for some strange reason, I died. I have no idea how that light killed me, but it did.

there must be some strange collision detection bug thats happening making the engine think that you fell a long way or something

one time i got attacked by 3 ashlanders and something happened where they cast a spell on me, and i became over encumbered, and even after i dropped all my equipment i couldn't get up. So i know what u mean when u say u can't get up

most be a bug or something =\

Do trapped doors count? I've been killed by those.

Conversely, I've often used doors to block the right hand attack of opponents.....

I hear ya, blake! I think that's what happened when i was killed by huleeya! It's happened to me before too, and once when i was just knocked down and almost dead...
In my case i could get past that one glitch by unequipping everything i had & going through the door nekkid..

Acually insanely frustrating, because the first time it happened i had to restart my character...
