possible bug in San Fransisco?

Post by Yeltsu »

I can't seem to be able to enter China town i San Fransisco for some reason, everytime I tries enter, the game freezes and I have to use the almighty ALT+CTRL+DEL combo to exit.
I have been to China town many times before, but now I can't enter, I have tried to enter both from the docks, and from the world map
btw. i have the latest patch

have this happened to anyone else? if so, please tell me what to do to fix it

Thanks everybody

hmmm

weird stuff...
maybe it is some windows xp issue? Try using unofficial 1.05 patch if you're not using it yet...

It's the too-many-items bug. That appears when there are to many items on a map, that is, in the shops, in the inventory's of you and the NPC's and in the car. It often happens when entering China Town, with its two big shops and the player collecting items during almost a whole game. Solution: reload old game and dump items.
Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it.
