Resurrecting my NPCs, how to?

Post by GimpySmurf »

I'm looking everywhere and can't figure it out. When I teleport back to Jaroo or Terjun to get someone brought back to life, there is no body to cast the spell on. . . .

I've been trying to figure out how to get the body back to them so they can Resurrect them, but haven't yet.

Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

Have you installed the official patch for this game? I believe one of the fixes in the first patch is that "NPC's (controllable) no longer permanently remove themselves from the party upon dying." I think that's what happened to you.

There is another solution here sugah. Go to Nulb and purcahse a Rasie Dead Scroll from Mother Scrange.

If you so happen are able to scribe scrolls with your Cleric then scribe Rasie Dead.

Lastly if you have about 60,000gp. You can go to Nub and purchase the Staff Of Life from Mother Scrange.

These options are there if you are still with the body in the dungeon area were this person was killed.

Still you should install the patches. I am not sure however they will fix your problems of your game you have going on now.

And a fourth one, Limo- (jelly-favourite),

depending of which of the patches you run ...

I've played Atari's AND Co8's patch since i learned of them, but i know from my pre-patch game that Npc would become permanently REMOVED upon dying.

But if you ply with the patch'es (A's or Co8's), when a Pc or Npc dies he/she should be grayed out and still be in the party.

But he/she get's an icon in their upper right corner (question mark-red) and if you click that one you will PERMANENTLY remove an NPC or PC..

When you go to Jaroo or Terjon for 'Raise Dead', all viable targets are your party's 'botom-left' icons. you don't need a 'Physical' body, just their 'Dead' (grey) icon in the party makeup.

When Raising Dead in 'dialouge' with Terjon/Jaroo, click the grey icon of you dead character, it should work. :)

Hope to see you alive and well :) :) :)
