Down for the count

Post by i4v02v95i5p09k9 »

Ok, I've been reading a lot of GameFAQ's from this book my friend has, and it keeps mentioning how you can knock someone out and steal their stuff while they're out.. how does this work by getting them knocked out? All I ever manage to do is punch them till they fall over and then punch the hell out of them while their down, but never able to open them up like inventory? Any help is appreciated
What a wonderous love it is
To bind two souls in faith,
Chained completely together
With never a false word,
Weal and woe, wish and real,
Woven each together
From first kiss to last breath
First and last whispered in love

I've never been able to knock someone out. You can wound 'em or destroy their fatigue, but they're still conscious, and they'll rise as soon as they can. The only way to stop 'em from rising is by killing 'em. Is this book some kind of professionally published guide to the game? If so, it was almost certainly researched before the game released (typically required to get a game book on the stands in time *for* its release), and includes mentions of features that were never finished.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

There's one occasion when you can take something from somebody who's unconsious - in the bar in Mournhold somebody collapses because they've been drinking too heavily - if you press the use button while they are on the floor you can take things from them, but they are still alive, and it will be reported as a crime.
