Jadale quest - Spoiler

I have begun the Luskan explorations. After talking to Erb at the brothel, I accepted the quest to get his ring back and went to the Jadale residence .. however no matter what I do I can't get the line of questioning relating to the ring. At this point about my only option is to kill them all and take his ring from her corpse. Any suggestions?

Do you get the dialog option: "Oh! I wasn't expecting any visitors. bla bla bla."?

That dialog tree should lead to the discussion of tErbs ring.

I've seen your problem mentioned elsewhere, and the only advice would be to go back to an earlier save and see if the problem persists. The other mention I've seen of it was due to a bug, and an earlier save game fixed the problem.
(Keep plenty of back up saves through Luskan and generally the game. I usually only use the "quick-save, and it burns me sometimes

Other then this I can't help you much

But the quests is minor, so you don't loose much from it if you can't complete it.

I think I'll just take her head with my sword. Sure I'll get a bit more evil, but...it's Luskan so I'll fit right in anyway. Thanks for the input.
