max HP

Post by HighLordDave »

I read on a review from cnet.com that BG2 had a feature similar to IWD that would allow a player to click a button and get the maximum possible HP per level. If such a button exists on an option page, I can't find it for the life of me (or my characters). Has anyone found a way to get the maximum HP per level, or do you just keep loading and reloading until the game gets it right? Maybe Interplay just wanted to see how perseverant their players were and took the button off . . .

So did I, but its simple realy just turn the dificulty level to normal and you get max HP.
since that does not give you less XP for playing the at a lower dificulty (unlike BG I and IWD)...

...some buttons in the options are 'hackable' which means to activate via editing the baldur.ini file with the right code. Like the 'blood'button via Memory Access=... etc. Maybe maxHP is one of them but I don't know the code anyway...
