new allies
so we know that we'll have over ten allies in our party this time. from the looks of things there is a merc, an old female jedi, and someone in shiny armor. i suspect the later to be some sith trooper that joins your ranks, and somehow that doesn't interest me. as for the old female jedi, i'm predicting that it will be Quatra, Juhani's old master that she attacked. What say you?

The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.

I agree with Theris, it is strange that you think it was Quatra. Though anything is possible, I guess. And why does shiny armor automatically make it Sith? Sorry, I don't mean to be antagonistic. I don't really have any opinions on this matter, it just struck me odd that you brought up Quatra and a Sith.
And Curry...
That was hilarious. All your base are belong to us. Take off every Zig. Sorry, I'm not poking fun at defpotec22, it was just too funny to ignore. Anyways, "What say you?" is Aragorn. And who could mock Aragorn?

Obi Wan Kenobi is one hot Jedi.

I was thinking that there ought to be an ally that is a Jedi who can weild a light saber and a blaster...That was one of the frustrating things I encountered was not being able to wield two Different weapon classes...I think that would be very cool and exciting...
Although I said this in another thread...Unarmed combat would be cool...if not for your player than at least for an Allie...wait...Is that spelled correctly?
What makes you think that Jedi lady is Quatra? Juhani said that Quatra left for Coruscant to train new Padawans!! And besides that old lady is a dark jedi! Master Quatra served the light. Your theroy is very strange.
In one of the demos one of the builders said they were trying to pull the parts of the two games together. For example in one of the demos they showed us the planet Telos, which was mentioned in KotOR I as Carth's home planet. Also in both games you get the Ebon Hawk, so putting Quatra in would be another way of linking the games, and i do think originally the old jedi served the light, but i think she changes.

Supposedly, as your character changes from light to dark or the oter way, your companions can also shirt as well. Jolee was a good idea because you could use him for darker powers and still have juhani or bastila for the light powers. I know juhani was a weak force user, but I never had to worry about stasis field of destroy droid keeping me open for better things.

uh...did you ever actually let juhani live you bloodthirsty bastard? Or at least talk to her after letting her live? (in case you aren't blood thirsty)
I'm gonna say this straight out because it ain't a spoiler, She sturck her master in anger, but did not kill her, she says, "I was foolish to think I could kill a jedi as powerful as quatra" (OK, that's a paraphrase)
man...that's just....gah!

Heh you're funny, alpha. I myself am a bloodthirsty bastard, but I only once killed Juhani, just to see what Belaya would yell at me. I didn't even bother following up on that part later; Juhani's too valuable to sacrifice for a cheap laugh, so I saved before killing her, then loaded after talking to Belaya.
It was something more along the lines of, "I was foolish to think I could kill someone as powerful as Quatra with my clumsy efforts." The clumsy part is important, cuz you just wanna giggle at her ineptness.
As for Jedi team members... I thought the story was based on you being the last of the Jedi. If there's other Jedi around to be your team mates, where did they come from? Are they just mere Padawans and not fully-trained Jedi, or are they ex-Sith? I guess we'll find out.

You missed out a further development.
SPOILER (highlight to read): After you kill Juhani and talk to Belaya she asks if there was nothing you could do to save the cat-woman. If you tell her "She got what she deserved" or something very close to that, Belaya will freak out and run off. Much later on in the game, on the distant Korriban just before you enter the Sith academy, guess who's waiting for you at the doorstep? That's right, you drove Belaya to the dark side, she joined the Sith and you'll have to fight her to the death right there!

Thanks, chahk. I actually knew about that, but like I said, Juhani's too valuable to me to lose her. Besides, my game crashes every few times I switch from one area to the next, and I have a very poor track record when it comes to saving multiple games. I just decided to leave the whole kill-Juhani thing be after I spoke with everyone on Dantooine about it.
