bad sound inside caves

Post by mcolton »

Every time I go into a cave (or underground), I get a howling sound (like microphone feedback). This just started recently. I am about 80% into the game. Anybody know what this could be. Thanks

Wow--I've no idea what that is, nor have I heard about that, before. You *could* try moving your savefiles, uninstalling, reinstalling and reloading those savefiles, but I've no idea if that would work. Is this problem affecting performance in any way?

It sounds like some kind of incompatibility with either your sound card, or a sound card setting. What is your sound card, and are you running XP or some flavor of 98?

Very, very odd. If you can afford to ignore it, that's what I'd suggest. I don't know what else it can be besides savegame corruption, but have you tried posting about on Larian's board?
