Why is this stupid goblin obeying me?

I just started IWD2 as an evil rogue1/fighter0 character and found that this one goblin archer (near the light house) was obeying me.

This would be really cool if when he finished a given task he go back there and shoot one of the targos guards near there. they blame me and so I went down like a load of bricks. the samething happened again when I started over. any idea why?
PS: no mods installed

Must be some kind of bug.... the fact alone that a goblin takes orders from you seems not right to me.

Idd, the only way this can happen is by charming the goblin. So this is abviously a bug, have you installed the latest patch?
