@lee- buck satan had very good reason to closing your thread. you could see it had a one way ticket to hell and everyone will be flaming everyone in the end. it was going to get ugly.

@Lee, you were being made the victim of a really nasty pile-on, and it was pretty clear things were going to get worse. Nobody deserves to be the vicitm of that kind of thing. Buck stopped a lot of people from making fools of themselves, and saved his board from a bit of anarchy.

@Thorin, nice going. It takes bigness of soul to recognize an error, and apologize--particularly in public. Good job.

cmon guys, cant you see?? this Lee just created his login to post that topic (his number is 1862, wich means he created this login recently), he is probably not gay, he just wished to call atention of the people...

I disagree. I think you have to take people at face value in these forums.

Lee, I just want to say I'm very sorry about the way some people reacted to your post, and I was also upset by the closing of the thread. (If you are curious about my personal point of view, read the thread "I don't believe my eys" in the Speak Your Mind forum.)

@Ripper, the point isn't whether you or I or anybody here believes what Lee wrote was straightforward or not--we can't judge "intent." The responses to that post, on the other hand, were simply uncalled for, IMO.

@Ripper, The point is that you can't be sure in some situations whether a post is serious or not. As some other members have already indicated, posts need to be taken at face value.

I agree 100% with Fable that the reactions where uncalled for. I am proud that some members have come forward and appologized for their reaction.

In my post in your thread, I tried to defend you, however, If you believed my post was insulting and mocking I'm truly sorry for wording it badly.

Anyways, welcome to Game Banshee, (hehe..this coming from someone who's been away for months so he only has like 2 posts

) and I hope that this will never be a problem again

First of all, let me apoloize to those being upset because of me, and I also thanks to those who has been sopporting me. I am new to the big BG family and I am happy and proud of it. I have nothing against Buck, I respected and accepted his job. After all he did the right thing. I feel sad because my topic is closed and it is nothing to do with Buck. ( As a matter fact, He was helping me not beeing hurt, because of him, I haven't seen those unfriendly replies ...) It is same as doctor tells you that you are going die very soon, sure you feel sad and it is nothing to do with the Doctor... I put up that topic just want to share my feeling in the big family of BG and not to making everybody unhappy. As a matter I just want to know are there any other BG gay player or am I the only lonely one, same as some like to be a Fighter or other like to be Thief. It is our won chosse our own life-style. BUT one thing I want to declare what RiPPeR said is very wrong. I am gay and as well as Lee is my real name and all my personal file information are nothing but turth, Thanks once again and Sorry...XXX Lee

hey Lee, get real, come on! You can't be The Only One, I figure there are hundreds of guys in this forum, so there must be some gay players, it's just a matter of numbers!
Anyway, I can imagine that it can't be easy for any of them to admit it here and answer your call.
Personally I appreciated the fact that you shared your feeling with us when you started your topic, as much as I enjoyed reading the posts in the Anomen thread. This game can be a wonderful emotional experience, wether you have a "real life" outside BG or not.

We should all be remined of the phrase "Live and let live". Buck Satan did the right thing for closing that topic; sexual preference is a sensitive and controversial matter.
