Question about cursed item

Is it possible to remove a curse from a cursed item?

Usually not by the means of the game.

You could use an item editor to remove the cursed properties though.

Sure. Use the Remove Curse spell.

Now, I may be wrong, but with the remove curse spell you remove the cursed item from your character, not the curse from the item itself?

Right, Angelus. It doesn't remove the curse from the item, but I assumed all that was wanted was a means to unequip something which is cursed.
