The spellhold test

I have a question about spellhold. Just after you leave the asylum dungeon and the apparition appears to give you the final test to leave. During the myconid area I realized there was a mushroom patch that was a container of some sort, but I was teleported out of there before I got to see what was there. In the banquet room i found a magic cloak on the table, and in the troll area you get a magic club. I'm assuming that since the other areas had nice magic items that I may have missed something in the myconid area. Does anyone know what is in the myconid area?
