Three questions

Post by Kieran_Frost »

1) since Aerie has the boots of grounding (50% electrical res) and the cloak of electrical reflection (what ever it's called), will she be total immune in the Beholders Dungeon?

2) Where is the wizard who I need to free in the Underdark? I couldn't find him anywhere.

3) Where'd the FU** did my familiar go. All of a sudden it was gone from inside my inventory and now my constitution went up, cool. Does this mean if you keep your familiar safe for ages your constitution always goes up one?

I'll miss the little tyke Image

1) No.
2) buy the "freedom" scroll and use it the release the mage, he will be in one of the passages.(you can cast it right away, it works on the whole area, no need to serach the exact place)
3) Its a bug, for some odd reason familiars vanish from the backpack when Irenicus steal your soul.(the reason is, in fact, quite simple, the familiars is on game terms a NPC, since none of the party members goes with you to that Candlekeep like place, he simple vanish)

Its a bug that only happens when Irenicus steal your soul, not before since the whole party is transported in to those dreams.

From the Patch readme.txt

"
* Fix to familiars moving between areas. Specifically this fixes releasing familiars after dream sequences.
* Fixed major bug with Nishruus eating item w/o charges (familiars, weapons, etc.)
* Fixed bug with dream sequences (familiars got stuck in wrong area).
"

You do have the patch install, correct?
I lost my familiar before because of the bugs, now I do not lose him.

Its always better to have the lastest patch installed, since it corrects several problems.
