Jaheira did not come back to life

Before heading for the island, Jaheira dies at Boddhi's coffin, ops, hide out. Her body disappears from char screen and she could never be brought to life again, no matter spell or temple. Eventually, the group found her equipment at the threshold of the entrance of shadow thief HQ. Group had solved Montaron, Curse and Harper treachery before that. Was not a fan of the character but did not like to leave her dead for good.

she probably suffered death by level drain or was reduced to -10 hp or less in one attack. if you have a saved game from befor the battle just replay it and watch to make sure that stuff don't happen to your characters.

You can also lower the dificuly to normal, that way you will never lose a NPC that way.
