i killed some cowled wizards who tried to arrest me. any bad consequences?

while trying to kill the vampires in the bridge district i used magic causing the cowled wizards to appear. i killed everyone including the wizards. does killing the wizards have any bad consequensces later in the game?

Well, they wont like you, and if you keep using magic in the city, without buying a permit, more and more of them will come, until you fight some head wizard guy. After you kill him, they wont bother you. I think. I usually play Lawful chars, or good.

just think of it as stress releaf. yes, even at chaotic good with 20 rep I still chomped on them every time...

you get some killer magical lott, I once got inc cloud and project image in chapter 2!!!

I went ahead and paid the 5000 GP for the 'privilege' to cast spells unmolested in the city.

If you kill the Cowled wiards and you are a mage/sorcerer then one of your apprentices (sp) who would normaly come back later in the game to make you potions (that is- if he didn't die) won't.

I don't think it's entirely true. My first time through the game, playing as a Sorceress I had killed a good deal of Cowled Wizards and yet one of my apprentices started making portions for me.

P.S. My first time through the game was without having ToB expansion installed --if it is of any importance.

go to the gouverment district and talk to the guy to the left of Talgarias (?).
talk until u can ask how u can become a cowweld wizzard and u can pay 5000 to get a lisence.
