a full fighter fest

Post by Nikk »

Ive just finished SOA with this party-

Me(Undead Hunter)
Korgan
Minsc
Keldorn
Valygar
Mazzy

In case u havent noticed, this party is made up of only fighters, paladins, and rangers.
This group is unstoppable!! The only things that cause problems are those annoying unavoidable traps ( going aroung was my tactic for all the others) and very high level spell casters whos protection spells keldorn cant crack.

Now ive just entered TOB and am now plagued with a decision that has troubled many players.

Who to kick out to make room for Sarevok?

Any help or\and your personal advise would be great.

True, Jan will solve both your problems. He takes care of traps and can pierce shields.

Whom to kick out? all i know is that Korgan and Keldorn cant be kicked out, they are the strongest of the bunch. Minsc and someone else then..
Sigurd, Crazed Cleric of Talos, Servant of Evil.

no, no the theme is melee fighters only, no spell casting , and every one uses a missile weapon of some sort when necessary
EG)Dwarven trower, bow of gensin, bow of treasia(the one that fires phantom arrows) 2 throwing axes and some 4+ longbow.

hey but thanks anyway and any more posts could help greatly

Sarevok is a lot like Korgan: an evil fighter, tough as nails and has great saves. So if you REALLY want Sarevok I'd trade Korgan in.
Although personally I'd stick with the dwarf and leave out Sarevok. I'm a real big Korgan-fan, I love his temper. He's my favorite NPC right after Viconia.
Most people will say that Sarevok may have a few little advantages over Korgan but that's also true vice versa. And don't forget: Korgan is a berserker, while Sarevok is 'just' a plain fighter, no kit.
And last but not least: Korgan stood by you through most of SoA... c'mon, you're not kicking him out NOW, are you? ;)

I don't know if you have a happy scipt or no, but Korgan is the only evil character in your group, so I'd chance him for Sarevok - you might be in for a little surprise later on...
