Umber Hulk Hell

I'm doing the de'arnise keep quest, amd i've got to the umber hulk room. i make someone invisible, run down the corridor and plant the dog stew on the dog bone bit, ive also tried putting it in the middle of the corridor....the umber hulks don't move! what the hell do i do?

death spell, cloud kill, death fog.

The same thing happened to me. I placed the meat exactly where it was supposed to be but nothing happened.

I just ended up having to fight them. Cloudkill works VERY well against them. I used the wand of cloudkill that I got from the original dungeon.

Death spell is best against them, kills them en masse. But if you don't have that, cloudkill, deathfog both work. Also chaotic commands.

Did you just drop the stew on the ground, or did you click on the patch of dirt and put it there? You have to do that.

And I have also noticed that they only start to move when your PC/NPC is back near the door. (the one from where they stand into the dungeon hall)
