TDD questions

Well, it's been a while since I have visited this forum (or played BG2 for that matter) and was just browsing through and I noticed this stuff on the GB main page about TDD. I tried going to TDD main page but it must be down. I also have been going through some past posts about it and have not been able to find much about it. So, I have a couple of questions.

1-I gather that it is not capatable with ToB, am I right?

2-Are the new Kits and NPC's cool?

They're working on ToB compatibility. The kits are interesting, though none are mage/sorc-related (at this point). Can't say I played it much, since I wanted to go back and finish my second run-through on ToB (this time with a good party), first.

Mage or Sorceror related Kits aren't possible at the moment, as they are hardcoded into the game's EXE (which it's too difficult to edit with just a hex editor

), as are Barbarians. I think there are several workarounds, but i don't know if they are to be included in a Patch, but i very much doubt that.

I have heard good things about TDD, it has a few bugs, but quite a lot were fixed with this first patch they released a few days ago.

if you are going to get it... just make sure you have your Download Accelerator ready as it weighs in at a massive 266mb.
