Dual-Class fighter to mage appearance

Post by Minya »

It sucks. I want my dual-class mage look like a mage but it doesn´t. It looks so stupid when you put a robe on her. Why does Nalia have the appearance of a mage? She´s a dual-class. I know that I can edit my characters appearance with Shadowkeeper but last time I used it this happened: When you sleep after Spellhold you will see a dream and after that you gain the Slayer change ability but when my party was supposted to wake up the game jammed and I had to press Restard. Actually I had edited my character so much that I couldn´t make her "normal" again. I had changed her class, appearance, colors, abilities and race and wisdom stats so I guess I just went too far...but if I just change her appearance into a mage, will it work?
PS:Try to answer as clear as possible. I´m from Finland and my english skills are quite limited.

From what I've heard, just changing your character's appearance won't give you any problems.

I once fooled around with changing Jaheira into a Ranger-Cleric and Minsc into a Monk. Game crashed half the time I tried to rest...

Both Nalia and Jan have mage avatars though they're not supposed to. You can change your PC's avatar with ShadowKeeper without any problem, I promise. Changing class is not a good idea, though. The right way to go there is to copy the saved game into multiplayer, delete the PC, create a new one, save, move the game back to single player then set the experience points with ShadowKeeper and level up "in-game". Hope this was clear enough, Minya.

I tried to because I like my NPCs to talk. The multiplayer PCs seem like robots compared :(
