Kensai/Mage in Throne of Bhaal
I started playing BGII the 3rd time around as an Evil Kensai/Mage (yeah I know its been done to death but I wanted to try it). Anyways, most of the posts I saw suggest dualing to Mage at either Level 9 or 13. But with Throne of Bhaal coming out I was wondering if it would be worth going higher as a fighter now that the 2.9 mil cap is being removed. I guess the big drawback is that I’d spend most of BGII as a relatively weak Mage. Anybody got an thoughts about this?

If they're coming out with a ton of new spells, I'd just as soon get those by going the distance with the mage side of my latest kensai/mage.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I think the fighter classes are going to get
some new abilitys in the expansion but that won't by until you get up past level 19 or 2950000. But if you do that you won't get your mage up high i did use s.k to see what would happen to my berserker celric. using level 50 rules, and if i get him up past level 13 he won't go to 40, if its the same with the mage then what will you do. yours rowdin.
