Will all chaotic evil enemies please raise their hand?

Post by MordorMan »

As a two handed sword user, I would like to know if there are types or classes of enemies that are chaotic evil, so that I can take out my Flame of the North for them. Its effectiveness is max against chaotic evil.

All creatures of the underdark, undead, creatures of the lower planes and goblinoid creatures. Umber Hulks are probably TN like most animals. :D

Chromatic dragons are generally evil(LE, CE, NE), metallic dragons generally good(CG, NG, LG), the silver dragon is LG, Red dragon CE, Black CE...

Edit: I looked, Umber Hulks are indeed always Chaotic Evil...

of Ogres (not all Ogres!) - Ogre Mercenary, Ogre Chak, Ogre Boz, Ogrillon, Half Ogre, Orc Mage, Andorian,
Orog, Ettin, Elf Assassin,
Shadow Thief (some, not all, in Ch.6 the might be treated as Chaotic Good),
Haz, Tizzak, Jariel, Hurgis Baltezan (however may be also Lawful Good),
Banshee, Baron Ployer, some of Gibberlings, (Greater) Ghoul, Ghoul Lord, Skeleton (summoned), Umber Hulk,
Stormherald Nallabir, Lennah, Jaylos, Jondal, Drunken Cleric of Talos, Xzar, Mane, Sorcerous Amin, Master of Thralls, Altar, Umar, Shadow Altar, Mugger, Ruffian Captain, some Thug, Fael, Rejiek Hidesman, Vellin Dahn, Tazok, TorGal, Jospil, Servant, Tathlyn, Imrae, The Master Brain, Yochlol,
Bodhi, Tanova, Durst, Gellal, Del, Hareishan, Meredath, Salia, Cohn Ta'glaen, Shyressa, Del, Dace Apparition, Parisa, Ulvaryl and other vampires,
Liches: Lagole Gon, Kangaxx the Demi-Lich, Nevaziah,
Centeol, Valeria, Dracandros, Chaos, Lord Jierdan,
some manifestations of Jon Irenicus, he changes ;) ,
Ghaundaur Priest Leader, Ghaundaur Priest, Relonar, Gallchobhair, Relonar,
some of Drow Torturers, Handmaiden of Lolth, Overseer Handmaiden, (not all Drows, note, there are at least some Neutral, Neutral Evil and Lawful Evil, Taso Kala one of them),
some of Githyanki (also one of two Captains and Anti-Paladin), Simyaz, Riti, Spirit Troll, most of Trolls, Ice Salamander, Salamander, Yuan-Ti, Greater Yuan-Ti, Yuan-Ti mage, Lacedon, Greater Lacedon,
Grae, Cambion, Umberhulk, Balor, Tanar'ri, Glabrezu, Demon, Lesser Demon Lord, Nabassu, Pit Fiend, Rabid Dog, Quasit, Fear, Greed, Pride, Wraith Sarevok, Selfish, Marilith, Minotaur, Shadow (but not shadow wolves), Shadow Fiend, some Mephits, Wights, Wandering Horror, Ghast, Lea'liyl, Mane, Maurezhi, Demon Knight,
of Dragons - Nizidramanii'yt, Red Dragon, Thaxll'ssillyia,
Jaguar, Sword Spider, Giant Spider, Small Spider, Wraith Spider, Skeleton Warrior(rare, mostly Lawful), Diseased Rat, Invisible Stalker, Tasloi Elite Trooper, Tasloi, some Mercenary, Diseased Gibberling, Vampiric Wolf,
Korgan (heh!),

Ditto. One might even say you dwell in lore. ;)

BTW MordorMan, if you're a non-Paladin 2-handed sword wielder, don't pass up Warblade one you get out of the underdark. No flashy bells and whistles, but hella fast and damaging.

it appear not always D&D rules match ones for BG :D but i see what i see. Take care and check. I run into the fact while collecting chaotic evil classes. However i might have lawful evil rakshasa skipped as well.

Hazim, thanks for the tip. I play a half-orc barbarian and haven't come across this one yet. I *have* build up quite a collection of swords already. I think I should hire a halfling caddie to carry my sword bag and give me useful advice on which sword to pick in each situation. His lore rating should ideally be approaching loredwellers'.

If you're a neutral or evil 2-handed sword wielder, the Soul Reaver +4 you find in the Underdark is also quite a nice sword.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Hmn, but come to think about it, in the manual is written something like "race of EVIL spirits[...]", and chaotic neutral doesn't really fit on Rakshasa IMO...
