Sorcerer bug?

Post by Vicsun »

I'm sick of this! Anytime I cast a spell all spells of that lvl decrease by 1. For example - I have 6 spooks, 6 magic missles, 6 protections from evil. I cast a magic missle and then insted of having 6 spooks, 5 magic missles, 6 protections from evil, I have 5 spooks, 5 magic missles, 5 protections from evil! That's not what is supposed to happen is it?

I think I know when this started happening:
I was in irenacus' dungeon and I needed stoneskin badly to get past a trap. Since I didn't have it I used shadow keeper to get one. When I leveled up, I choose to get stoneskin to keep the balance (so i won't have one more lvl 5 spell then i would have if I hadn't cheated). Then whenever I clicked the spell button i had two icons of the spell, and when I cast it they both decreased by on... Now I used the SK again to remove the second stoneskin, but my problem still exsisted - whenever i cast a spell all spells of that level decrease as if I had cast them.

O.K. If you understood anything of what I wrote, please reply. Thanx in advance.

Dont want to be annyoing but that is suppose to happen. You can cast 6 1 level spells. 6 magic missels for example. If you cast an other 1 level spell you have only 5 first level over. Get it. 6 spooks 6 magic missle.
Cat 1 of them them and they both decrease \. So dont be mad because this is suppos eto happen. If it wasnt a Sorceres would be twice as mighty.
(I hate rabbits, death to them all!)

That's not a bug. A sorcerer may cast 6 level one spells (according to you). These are any of the spells you have available. Meaning you may only cast 6 level one spells before you need to rest to regain them. Any of the 1st level spells decrease the total which is 6. That's the bummer about the sorcerer.
You can never hope to grasp the source of our power. We are forever.

Thanx! Your help was greatly appreciated.

Oh well, next time I'll pick a kensai/mage.

I was thinking that the sorcerers were overpowered, but looks like they arn't (i'm not saying they're weak).

The sorcerer is REALLY overpowered! I'm currently soloing one, and he really kicks a**. He is almost invincible with shapechange and stoneskin, killed Kangaxx, shangalar, guarded compound, red dragon, shadow dragon etc. etc. etc.. Try one... you won't regret!! Image

Shapechange? Isn't that a level 9 spell?

you should really try soloing without removing exp cap.
