Love and a big sword

Post by flinfman »

Here's my question: if you're playing as a male you have three romances: Jaheria, Aeire and Viconia. Viconia you can hook up with if you mouth off to her, Aerie is just the reverse- you get her by being sweet and listening to her go on an on about life and all things that give you a headache at 3 in the morning- but how do you hook up with Jaheria? I would imagine you get your foot in the door by being symapthetic about her loser... er, husband, Khalid but then what else can you do to win her heart? Any thoughts?

We have yet to solve the mystery that is the Jehiera romance diologue.
When logic and proportion,
Have fallen sloppy dead,
And the White Knight is talking backwards,
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the doormouse said.

Ohh.. you must support her after death of this looser - Khalid (I have the power to ressurect him but I *will* not do it :D :D - he is death and will remain death) and later you must show her that as she say "that the Child of Bhaal is as decent as it seems to be" - it means that you shouldn't tell her stupid things like "I'm the child of Bhaal and you will listen me because you are my slave" (there is one similar dialogue)
So sayeh

Fortunately there are not so many people that could make NPCs (So he will remain death as it should be - Jaheira is only for PC in BG2 :D :D   :p

Hey flinfman. I have romanced Jaheira a few times, Vic is cool, Aerie.. well, she is good to have in the party - gotta love them healers. I have found that being understanding is the way to go. Try to take the path of balance in your responses and jump at the chances at humor when they appear. Jaheira is probably the most realistic female personality of the NPCs. The hardest thing about the Jaheira romance is timing. One out of sequence dialogue and the romance is toast. I have read in the forums that the romance only progresses in chap 2,3, and 6, but reached the infamous 70 lovetalk rating in chap 4 of my current game. So it would appear that it carries on into chap 4 as well. We did the deed just outside of spellhold! I hope this helps.
