Elves???

I'm playing with an elf right now, since they have the cool "mind shield" protection from their nature (immunity to charm).

Then when I play the game I encounter the fact that my character can be charmed as any other? Or doesn't domination go under the charm spell group? I just wondered, because when a person gets dominated it doesn't say "Sheila Shadowwalker omination/Dominated" but "Sheila Shadowwalker ire Charmed"...

I want some clarity in this case, so please... Anyone?
