ToB - Damn Dragon (Spoiler alert)

Hey all,
I have reached the first dragon in the game... and to be fair, hes giving me a hard time. First off, my Dual 750mzh pen3 geforce 2 card system is having some trouble with the frame rate, anyone else?

So, im really open for suggestion here, I have sendt pretty much everything I have his way and have only gotten him down to injured. What weapons should I be weilding? and som spell tactics would be nice.

PC - Barbarian
Sarevok
Viconia
Jahiera
Edwin
Imoen

All in the early mid 20's level wise.

I assume you're talking about Draconis, the really fast one. Forget fighting him in melee--you might kill him in melee, but hurt him first. You just need to hit him with a Spell Trigger of Lower Resists and have Edwin and Imoen cast Abi Dalzim several times each. Get off a time stop if you can (two should leave him dead), because he moves so fast.

Also, summon a Planetar. Those are very effective against dragons.

Thanks alot, I have been trying to get a lower resistance on him, but its almost impossible cause he is so damn fast.
Also did summon a planetar, but he made easy work of it. Also, abit of a bummer that you can only summon 1 at a time.

Do you have the Robe of Vecna from the SoA bonus merchants? It will help A LOT in getting a Time Stop off. Then you can have your way with Draconis. (Have a spell trigger ready with 2 or 3 lower resists.)

Just a quick follow up, I wanna thank you all for helping out, finally nailed the bastard... damn it felt goooood. He got 3x2 lower resistance right in the face and all my most wicked area effect spells.(Damn Edwin is one bad mother, when it comes to spell casting, although I liked him better as a woman, minsc agree's)
