Spoiler

I'm not sure why you cant hit her but here is my party and what I used when I fought Mellisan:

Me (monk): fist
Keldorn: Casormyr +6
Minc: FoA +5 and Answerer(I used Blackrazor first but it does no damage to her)
Korgan: Runehammer +4
Seravok: Soul Reaver +4

Yeah I finished it but.....perhaps you should trying dispelling magic incase she has stoneskin or something on her. I think she can only be hit by +4 or weapons or above though im not entirely sure. I had my berserker using FoA +5 and Hindos Doom +4 (celestial fury does no dmg). And various other +4 and above weapons. Basically i Just contiously dispelled magic and whirlwinded her to death.

My Berserker and his party had little trouble with her (I had more problems with Draconis). Between my PC, Sarevok, Keldorn, and Minsc pounding on her in hand-to-hand she fell pretty fast.
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Damn she is hard. I guess I missing some tanks. I got: Me Babarian, Saverok, Keldorne (Picked up too late in the game, Jaheira is just too poor in ToB and I have been paying for it ever since.. DAMN), Viconia, Imoen and Edwin... the later two are pretty much dead after a few rounds.. because of her constant summoning.
I fire a spell trigger lower resistance(x3) and get, "The Bitch" was im...

Not to mention that she summons soo many creature that my frame rate is about 3 pr sec.

Anyone got some brilliant tactic.. ohh and my party is fatigued... sigh..

Have you tried letting Imoen and Edwin cast Mislead and sending the decoys into the fog of war? That way, they can stay invisible while casting spells. Or do those summons see through that?

I only have a couple solutions to the creatures she summons: use either Wail of the Game ;) Banshee or Death Spell on them, those two usually work good against big groups of creatures.
I saved Suldanesellar from destruction, and all I got was this stupid amulet.

I didn't really have problems with Melissan attacking my mages. Have Viconia, Edwin, and Imoen use Energy Blades on Melissan (and use Limited Wish with some wisdom potions to get spells back if necessary--I didn't need to do this but I assume it still works). Ignore the summoned monsters; just attack Melissan with your fighters. Depending on your level, whirlwind when you can. Use breach with the robe of vecna to remove her stoneskin/other protections.

The third (second to last) time you fight Melissan is the hardest; feel free to use everything you have left for that fight, since she's not that strong at the end. None of the non-Melissan fights are very hard either.
