Where can I get a Wizard Staff, so I can become a wizard?

Alternatively, you can fulfill the conditions of either of two mage quests, and net yourself a nice staff. But neither is exactly for novice types.

There is a daedric ruin just outside of Ald-Ruhn, called Ramimilk (I know, sign of a wasted youth), inside the shrine at the back there is a locked door. Inside is a wizards staff. I should get out more...

Hey, I am no novice..

Level 34
Redguard Mercenary
Grandmaster of the Morag Tong
and I got a Daedric Tanto, Katana and Dai-Katana enchanted with fire, frost, and shock, respectively, and each has an explosion radius of 50 ft, and i can kill anyone in a few strikes, i was just being my lazy self...

there is also 1 in the telvanni vault in vivec, it hast nice strike effects

If I recall correctly it has to be a 'wizards staff' and the efects are heal and levitate cast when used.

You buy one from a guild steward for 5000 gold or get a quest to kill someone that has one.

I picked mine up fairly early in the game at that shrine/ruin outside Ald'ruhn.

i think felens staff was one but i could be wrong
