Planar sphere switch

I cannot find the switch to activate the demon area in the Planar sphere?
I have read this sights walkthtough but to no avail. The control panel is on the in game map but i still cannot find it!
Any help would be very much appreciated as i have been in the sphere for a few days now and its starting to smell.

Clear the room to the left of the entrance (1 golem) Take the key from there (there are about 3 or 4 stashes, one is a metal cylinder, hard to find) then once you have the key, try and open the door across from the entrance. The sphere will plane-shift.

Thanks for the reply, but i have obviousley mudded the waters a bit. What i need is the demons heart to power the sphere but i cannot get to the demon area.
The walk through says to throw the switch outside the map room to the right of the entry door, but i cannot find the switch.
I can get into the map room no problem, but nothing happens?
Any more thoughts.

i didn't think that there was a switch that need to be thrown in order to leave. try just walking out the way u entered the sphere...

one more thought....

you've talked to lavok right? because as soon as you enter the inner part of the sphere in shifts so there shouldn't be aproblem if you'ved talked and agreed with lavok (i think u have to agree to help him)

Yep

I have Lavoks full agreement. Just no way to get to the demons heart.

To obtain the Demon Heart, go out the portal through which you originally entered the Planar Sphere. It now leads to a different area.
