Personally when I play the only time I re-load is when one of my party gets chunked or the more obvious when my PC gets killed.(like you gotta choice on that) What I am trying to say is when my party members die in battle I just raise them through any of the normal ways. Well maybe the fact that I have had Jaheira raised a number of times throughout the game that this might cause errors in the romance script. Y'know how if she leaves your party at any point the romance ends, well does her dying maybe screw things up? What are your thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Theory about Jaheira bugs..........
So Waverly what you are saying is almost anything can screw the romance? I can understand her being kicked out, but a simple spell can mess her script up?.....Hold, Maze, Imprisonment, Hell maybe me casting haste on her makes her frigid..........Geez!! I must than agree on a previous post regarding Jaheira....Did a chimp write her script????

Always happy to have someone agree with me. (grin) Personally, Jaheira is so fragile that I reload if someone successfully casts Confusion on her. Or even if they unsuccessfully cast it. She still wigs out. You can't avoid it. I'd imagine that you can number the people who've successfully made it to the end of the Jaheira romance with no problems on the fingersof one hand, and I'd be willing to bet that at least half, if not all, of those people would experience the extra Harper pins bug if they left the game on long enough. Hell, I had made it to Chapter 6 in one game thinking everything was cool and then she started looping the morning after dialogue and calling Terminsel in to pester me constantly.Originally posted by fishhead:

Another thing that really pisses me off is when someone asks the design team about this and they invariably respond with "Well, we wanted the Jaheira romance to be harder than the others." My ass. There's a difference between intentionally making something challenging, and then something being difficult because of an unending stream of catastrophic programming errors. That's got to be the second lamest excuse for poor programming that I've ever seen.

I hear she is not the only romantic quirk. Is this true? Does Aerie or Vic have any problems with theirs?
About Jaheira is there any word of a new patch that may take care of it and sorry I don't really wanna use a patch made by someone other than Bioware. I don't expect Bioware to make a patch for one romance, but there are other things that can be changed for example the AI for the monsters. I would like to think that perhaps tweaking the dragon's AI would be a good move. I tried some of the strategies i.e. cloudkill, setting traps wow talk about easy pickins. Don't you guys think it is silly to make one of the most powerful and intelligent creatures in the game "stupid"? I mean really would a dragon sit idle and let you summon 5 monsters and set traps around them and not expect a hostile act. Dumb very dumb.

If she gets petrified also counts as a kill.Originally posted by rapier:
Only inprisonment, not hold or (boot your @§§ to the(PS:Torment anyone?!)) maze(s)...
She got petrified in one of my games, when I turned her back - she acted as I'd booted her out of my party and went to Harper's hangout - since this was in the asylum, I had to reload :-(
