What is the most stupid thing you've ever seen an enemy do in SoA?
I was rolling on the floor laughing when the Rakshasha in the sewers yelled "kill him!" at his kobold minions, and after that casting a cloudkill in the centre of the pit, instantly killing them all

I've seen a enemy mage cast a fireball onto his people, instead of mine, killing them all. I was like, HEY! Thanks!

i think beholders and gauths attacking a character with a mirror magic spell or the cape of mirrors on then is pretty dumb seens as they dont get the drift that their own attacks are been sent right back at them until they are a pile of goo on the floor. Clever enemys my arse

Well, I personally think those two guys who come after you in the front of the copper coronet are really disgusting.
"Calm down Corvhale, mr F dont like whatever..."
They are weak and there is not even an I shoulda run thing for them.

Well, if you're including that kind of stupid, what about the random attacks by bandits when you're wandering around town. I mean let's think about this ... here's six heavily armed and armoured characters ... who have been making a name for themselves around town ... and you're going to pick THEM to try and rob?

(Scimitar by the way)
The most stupid are ... well pretty much any creature that dosen't move when you cast an AE spell on them and they just stand around doing nothing

True. Habib has to be the most simple-minded. As I recall, he was part of some publicity stunt to put a player's character (briefly) in the game.

Stupid Enemies
I'd say that Drow are the least intellegent of your multitude of enemies. I ran in to one in the Suldenesselar area who actually cast a demon-summoning spell when my ENTIRE PARTY was already "Protected from Evil". The fool was a great aid in ripping himself apart - with enemies like these, who needs friends?

Well, as long as you don't write "Hey mr drow, right now im hasted, protected from evil and i have a superior Thac0, so you can't hit me, nanana" on your forehead, i don't see how you can blame the poor drow

in the beholder lair in the underdark, the mindflayers keep on attacking the gauths but they are immune to the attacks, except for stun. so you just see a bunch of mind flayers shooting psionics mindlessly (haha...) at the stunned gauths

I've got to go with the Mind Flayers, who can't open a door when I send a Cloudkill into the room with them and then close the door. They just stand around and die.

Hmm... what about all the monsters before you get a tactics mod? cuase none of them seem have a real AI script to protect themselves to save their life... All are easily defeated with a few set tactics

that's crap. the gauths are often charmed by the flayers and sent at your party as fodder.

The orcs in Fiirkraags dungeon, just cast a protection from missiles on a character and unequip any armor, and the orcs (stupid as they are) keeps on firing missiles at you till they are dead.... Muahahahaha

Yep, and the main tactic in tactics that improve difficulty, such as in Johnie dungeon, IMO, exept for the improved team of course, is the non closing doors. You cant close, you avoid cloudkills and lots of different spells to work as cheese.
