Hit points

Post by Valhallen »

Why Hit Points are not distributed as they should ?
Examples:
While advancing Jan/Aerie as a thief/cleric i should get 2 HP for class + bonuses for constitution (+1 for Jan). But I can't get more then 1HP while advancing ?!

While getting level ie. with Keldorn i should get 3HP for class and additional 3HP for constitution bonus. But every time it ends up with only 3HP.

It all seems as if Con bonuses didn't exist ?!

With Jan and Aerie low HP may be connected with Multiclass. I 've noticed that when they advance in both classes at the same time (i had such an ocasion only once) they get more HP (but then HP are not constant), ie. Jan got 3HP (should get 4, but its better than 1 :) , Aerie on second hand got 5HP (should get 3 - no Con bonus) !!

Something is not right, is there anything that i can do ?

It is the way assignment of hitpoints works after level 9. No constitution bonus.

Fighter types get +3 hitpoints per level, whereas clerics and rogues types get +2 and mages get +1.

Edit: that is also why when multiclass characters level in both classes at the same time gets "more", they gets the first class and the second (and/or third) also.
So Jan getting 3 is due to +2 from rogue and +1 from mages.
