Who gets what weapon?

I always sided with my force users and was wondering, What's the best weapon for other NPCs? I just used what I had, and could never really afford cool weapons. All my credits when to stuff that improved my saving throws... (which made any type of character I used unstoppable) Any feed back whould be good because I'm gonna go through the game without any lightsabres!!!

When I played - I usually played with Canderous and build him up to being a dual wielding meele fighter.
I can't remember the excat weapons - but I did give him that poison blade (Naga something I think) you can get from Korriban. That is a really nice sword.
(Canderous was devestaing with 2 good meele weapons. There are some very nice meele swords in the game.)

If I ever get around to playing again - I'll try to build my jedi up to using meele weapons instead of lightsabres.

I let them keep their original weapons (for roleplay reasons).

For armour I usually give Canderous Calo Nords upgraded armour and Carth Daviks warsuit. I never really bother with the other non jedi characters. there are some pretty sweet items at the yavin station. Anything Baragwin?? is usually wicked!!

All the Jedi's have lightsabers, Canderous has his Ordo Blaster( I've upgraded it so it takes out like half the enemies life with one flurry attack) Carth has Cal Nord's Madalorians blasters. Those are wicked.
