Trist quest - cannot finish it.

Post by rumagent »

Hi

I am having a problem completing the Trist quest (the one in the lower ward involving Lenny, Byron Pikit and of course Trist). I have gotten Lenny to give me the passwords "I'm here for a loan" and "I gave Pikit the laugh". The problem is, that the dialog never shows. All I can do is to claim some copper pieces :(

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I recall this question being posted before... did you try a search?
Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak

Yes, but to no avail. The question has been posed before, but it has not been answered.

I forget exactly, but I think if you talk to Byron (and go through a certain dialog path) after Lenny gives you those passwords, the variables get reset so it will be as if you never got them.

Thank you, but unfortunatly he seems to be done speaking with me (I guess I insulted him, when I told him I intended to gather evidence).

I am about to enter the fortress of regrets, from which I do not expect to return anytime soon, so Trist must remain a slave for the time being.

What I meant was that speaking to him then may be what causes the problem in the first place, not what fixes it.
