A suggstion for new members

Post by KidD01 »

First of all i don't mean to offense anyone by writing this topic. But after some observation i made for sometime, i think it's time that i write this stuff.

I have seen that some new member posting topics that currently being discussed by other members. All i want to suggest is try to read past messages than simply posting a new topic that contain discussed topics. If u got question about the discussed topics u can simply relpy to the topics. IMHO that makes it easier for all of us.
What do you say Buck ?

Hey i agree with you, before asking a question they and all of us members should read Game Banshee's exhaustive databases.

blabblablabla.....

no, i get your point. But you must understand that there are a lot of topics and a lot op topics have subtopics and a lot of people have lives beyond BG2 ( yeah I dont understand how its possible 2). So forgive those that neglect to read the EXTENSIVE database and if that aint possible just dont reply or read that stuff.

there is no such thing as a stupid question there are only stupid people ( or was it stupid answers??? think i like the first one better)

Crovax..
I think you have to post a certain noumber of topics/reply. And if I am not remembering wrong, the noumber is 30 something (maybe 32)
Then you become a member

I saw your comment in the other thread ... I just had it in yet another one - I was nice enough to answer, though Image

Perhaps Bucky should make such an option clear to all people who enter the forum? How about putting it above the selection list of the various fori?

How does the search work? From what I've tried, it only searches what's in the topic and not the body of the message. So, now we need to encourage everyone to put relevant information in the topic to make our searches easier :P
