I have gotten to W.K. L2 right up to killing the Fire Giant. I can get him out of his room & even into ice room but I can't kill him even though I show damage being done to him & his being almost dead he won't go down so I can't get the last scepter and proceed with the game by releasing the Chromatic Demon. Does my game end here, or is there anything I can do?
Appreciate any help.

Have you read all the scrolls left by the wizards?

Well, sometimes to kill him is buggy and I have to try three or four times before achieving it.

Be sure to try again before reading my spoilers.

SPOILERS highlight to read.

you need to send his fire elementals into the Ice room and freeze them or the pool will feed him with fire, and he wont die. Turn down the ventilation shaft to avoid "breaking" the frozen elementals with acidic cloud and freeze them there. Then run back to the room and kill him ASAP, cause he wont stand vulnerable for a long time.

Ther'es a lot of fire elementals... something like 4?, so keep drawing them till no more run at you, they go and kill the giant

keep drawing the fire elementals into the ice lab until you get a notice saying you have gained x amount of experience. then quickly kill the fire giant and you're done. the chromatic demon isn't easy though
