Hi, I've been playing Morrowind for awhile and got sidetracked on another game, FFXI. Anyway, I came back to Morrowind about a month ago, created a new char, and have been doing lots of quests and stuff. So today I was playing and decided to load a game to save some time and money. At first there was a totally white screen with only the box at the bottom that says what it's loading. Then after a minute and a half wait it loaded. I cast a few spells and it booted me out. I got back into the game, loaded again, and it seemed okay until about halfway through loading an error message popped up that said something about "a journal entry not having connected strings", or something like that. I click yes, and another one pops up about a different journal entry. I click yes to this one, and go through about twenty more boxes before I get sick of clicking and click no. It boots me out. I get back in, it loads properly with no error messages, HOWEVER, now the spells that I needed to cast to save time and money are screwed up. All of my spells cost/chances are wrong. The chances are zero and the costs are normal. Some of my magical items also have had their costs changed to one. The chances of them working might also have been changed (they're all in the 100-150 range, which seems slightly high to me).
So, my question is: WHAT SHOULD I DO?! I spent a lot of time building up these skills, and I really don't relish raising them again.
Thank you for your help!

I'd suggest moving your saved game directory, then uninstalling and reinstalling Morrowind and its patches. After that, move your saved game directory back.
