Two questions (possible spoilers I guess)

Post by Chimaera182 »

I was too lazy to go through all the past threads recently, but I didn't recall seeing either of these questions when I last did, so I hope I'm safe. And I'm not sure if this qualifies as spoiler-worthy, but I'm putting it anyway so someone doesn't gripe. :p

Anyway, obviously, two questions:

1.) Has anyone ever managed to end the Sandral-Matale fued peacefully? I know GameBanshee says there's a way, but I haven't managed it yet. It probably has to do with the fact that I have this "got to finish all quests before i leave" mentality so I always do it before I leave Dantooine. So I don't get a chance to buff up on my Persuade.

2.) What happens with Komad? He's the hunter in the Eastern Dune Sea, if you don't remember. I usually wind up killing him, but I let him live in my last game and was surprised when I bumped into him again on Kashyyyk later. After that, I never saw him again, so where'd he go? It doesn't really make sense to me for the programmers just to drop him there so casually and have him vanish, but I don't even recall GameBanshee saying anything about him. Does anyone else know if there's some reason (other than what he says, I mean) for his presence on Kashyyyk?

1) It *does* end peacefully, if you consider that both enemies will be spending their hate on the Jedi government, instead of one another.

2) He just vanishes from your life.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Quite easy to do without ever using [Persuade] options and gains you some LS points in the process. And the kids live happily ever after... Well not really, with Dantooine being attacked and all.
Say NO to sigs!

The first question

Diplomacy goes a long way. I managed to have it not only end peacefully, but the parents both approved and got together to build them a home of there own. I only did it once, but I never told Mr sandrel about his son's death. It's a coincidence, I'm sure. My persuade was pretty high at level 9 or 10 I think, and did allow for some options to work that did not before.

Two questions

Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean peacefully, I meant with the parents' approval.

That requires a decent amount of Persuade, 12-15 including bonusses.
