what i want outta this game.....
i like the rule system of morrowind and i think they shud keep it, but put the new limit higher then 100 for skills attributes etc.
magicka shud regenerate just as fast as ur fatigue does to make magic a desirable skill to use (curenlty i just typed player-> addspell relvel_regenerate and it gives me magicka regeneration must have tribunal for it to work)
it really really really sux that ALL light armor looks HORRIBLE on your character!!! they need to make cool lookin light armor.
please change Hand to Hand combat! with 100 in hand to hand you be able to hurt the enemy's health not just fatigue. and if u were an uber martial arts master you wud be able to hit faster as well. Unarmored needs to be imroved, 65 as maximum armor just isnt enough. the armor shud be point for point armor (i.e. 83 in unarmored skill means 83 armor).

The first bit makes you sounda like a typical powergamer.... as for magicka regenerating, really removes the whole point of Alchemy.... and would make allready uber majick users unstoppable. I just hope they keep it fairly traditional in the style of arena and daggerfall (still the best in the series imo) Oh i hope they bring back custom weaknesses etc.. and i sincerely hope they don't dumb it down like many games seem to be into these days and it just wouldn't be an elder scrolls game if it didn't crash every 10 minutes either. I agree that they should put more effort into making the armour look a little cooler.... half the fun of daggerfall was making your character look completley hardcore by hunting down the gold tipped daedric armour.....

The most important I want is that the game is more balanced.
In Morrowind you very quick become too powerfull and almost no enemies gives you problem.
I also think that the classes most be more strict. I think a fighter should not be able to use any magic. It makes the game too easy, and it is also not "true RPG" IMO

1. HL2 graphics, and better
2. Better storyline - like the tribunal one, I liked the twist, the current storyline doesn't suck but isn't exceptional and isn't very involving.
3. Better quests
4. An even more 'real' world than Morrowind
5. LESS BUGS!

ES games tend to have the latest and greatest in graphics, so i don't think we have to worry about that, as for the classes being more strict I think they should bring back the restrictions from daggerfall for custom class creation... i.e. If you want a really powerfull mage, you have to take an inability to wear plate armour etc. I think they should work on difficulty and monster AI, and a more advanced combat system... I don't mind the pirates of caribean one (though I am still waiting for a game with as an addictive fighting system as moonstone) . It is also suggested that the gameplay will be very different from the second and third installment so we will see I spose.

I should like the game to be even bigger! Also, transport available for individual use such as boats, horses etc would be good. How frustrating to find a rowing boat tied up to the shore, hop on and find you can't go anywhere in it! I quite fancy having a small boat to ply the rivers with.
We shall show mercy but we shall not ask for it.

I'd say, more interactive and realistic NPCs foremost, along with more balanced gameplay, and less wilderness travel...I HATED spending half the game wandering everywhere...wouldn't it be cool to have some sort of commandeerable beast? (think Grand Theft Guar... ).
I sincerely wish we could re-consider this plan from a perspective that involved pants.

Well, personal beasts should be included, but the wilderness size IMO is fine, for realism.
I hope their graphics engine will be more efficient this time.

I agree with the balance of power thing but the reason I love Morrowind so much is BECAUSE you can become a Mage/Thief/Archer/Warrior... It would be annoying if my vetran could only wield a bow or only use a sword or only cast magic... but I think that having better skins for your character would work well, and a walkthrough for the Construction Set would be nice, also, someone said before about the armour, I agree totally... the only nice-looking feminine light armour would have to be the netch stuff and it is not very good protection... at least (unlike some other games) I don't need to force my elf into leather bikinis....) and another thing, customizing your character AFTER you begin playing, tatoos, haircuts, hair dye (kudos 2 fable 4 that) would be better (you know, for the bonding thing *hugs character plushie*) and a block option, not the hack-and-slash fighting we saw previously, another thing, a deeper character design (like changing your eye/hair colour at the beginning *green, brown, blue, black, grey...*) and your stats affecting the way you look... *lol, I feel like I'm filling out a Christmas wishlist.* hey, if any Bethesda people are reading, TEN THOUSAND TRILLION KUDOS TO YOU! I mean, Morrowind has changed the way I've looked at the boundaries of rpgs... you are always alowed going outside the paths There are so many rpgs out there, but Bethesda outdoes them all! (sorry other guys...)

i agree completely. the hack n slash is definately an es3 weak point. i'd like to see the addition of attack moves, even if they arent user controlled. and the ability to use magic and weapons is great. it gets boring beating everything down with Sunder, and the same goes for casting fireball on everything that moves. i'd also like to see an option so that when you beat finish the main quest or some trigger like that late in the game, a new quest can be activated (note: has to be optional to activate this quest) ---> to hunt down the granddaddy of all the cliff racers and KILL HIM thus ending the reign of those infernal dive bombing *bleeps*! mmmm....no cliff racers.

I'd like to see repeat shoplifting offenders literally thrown out of any merchant shop as soon as they entered it, for a period of at least several game months. It stands to reason that if you get a reputation for stealing shop items, it's going to get around, and shop owners simply aren't going to tolerate your presence. I'd also like to see no magical way to avoid this. As it is, there are too many ways to jump up, around, go invisible, grab things and recall, etc.
Thieving should be just what the name implies: a matter of stealth, dexterity, and patience. If you can learn stealth simply by standing behind somebody or grab items by waiting for a person to turn away, then it isn't theft--it's cheese, in my opinion. I want to play a thief who finds shoplifting a real challenge, something you can only do successfully after you've trained a good while. It should be accomplishment, and even then, fraught with peril over being caught, because of the penalties attached.
That *is* what being a thief is all about in this fantasy world, isn't it? Challenging gameplay? Walking a tightrope? Learning the craft?

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Thief: Deadly Shadows, fable?
I want NPCs to be more like "real people" and do more than four things (namely walking, standing, trying to kill you, and dying). After all, it doesn't make sense for any Telvanni to walk into a Mages Guild, and then leave with both the Mages Guild and the Telvanni in one piece, or for any person to walk into the Thieves Guild and leave with all his gold still in his pockets.
So far the AI review on elderscrolls.com has been impressive, with the little setback that one of the guards decided to go poaching and leading to a town-wide riot but NPCs that don't have to wait for you to do something will be a great addition.

I agree wholehaeartedly.. Espescially the comment about the thieve's guild.. If someone is a thief and you stand around w/ your back turned for long enough, they should take a crack at pickpocketing, unless you have a rep or something anyway.. and you should be able to fight back legally if you catch them stealing..

I think that reputation should be a bit more involved that just a number out of 100. For example, if you did good deeds all over the place, you would get a positive reputation, and for that people would like you more, whereas if you did bad stuff, people would loath and fear you (kinda like fable, but maybe a bit more advanced)
