Is there anyway out of this one?

Playing the game for the second time, and descided to not have Valygar with me this game. But obviously you still get the quest from the Cowled Wizards asking you to find him. So I did, and then he asks you if he could join, a request which i now regretfully declined. Even though leaving on a positive note as friends, things were going to get all screwed up. I got back to Atkathla, and before going into the government buildings I saved just to be sure I wouldnt do anything dumb in my confrontation with Tolgerias. So I start chatting with him, and if you tell him straight off that - no man, I feel sorry for the poor sap, Im not turning him in , he gets very mad and storms off warning me of death and other nasty things. So feeling happy about doing the right thing I go down to the docks to check up on my old pal and see if theres some way I can do the sphere quest anyways. I slowly walk into the house, expecting nothing but a warm greeting, and I am suddenly attacked by a bunch of cowled wizards and amnish soldiers, okay, I should of expected that, but this isnt the beef. After some cleaning up the place I went upstairs, to see if Valygar was ok, hmm, he looks alright to me, but suddenly, before being able to approach him, he yells out something about loving his servant and that Im a fat bitch, maybe not a fat bitch, but something really , really mean. Anyways, he turns red and there is no way out except running away or killing him.

If you're playing an asshole and if you turn him in while in the government district, you lose a point of rep, get a ring of ram as a thanks, and no xp. And I know the sphere has a hell of a better payoff than this, so I am quite troubled by the situation I've found myself in.

Is there anyway out of this?? I also tried skipping the whole Government part and just to have a chat with valygar, maybe to warn him or something. But no, that didnt work either, the wizards and soldiers are still packin heat and I still end up just as screwed. So I duno, maybe there isnt a way into the sphere anymore, maybe there isnt a way to make friends with Valygar, I duno, anyone know of this??.

There is also a servant strolling around in his house( maybe you accidentally kiiled him/her during your fight?
If you want to enter the Sphere, you must let him join you. After the entrance to the Sphere is opened you can ditch him.

Oh damn, That sucks ass, I'll have to load it from before I did trade meet, but that is some crazy easy shit tho, you know with the druids n stuff. Im not feeling good about this, but I think I need it for the Crom Fayer shit right, yeah thats right.

Eyo nevermind, I found a way out of it. See I needed him in my party, doesnt matter if you have him dead or alive. If you dont talk to the government guy and just go into his house he's still red, but you can take his body. Doing this will let you enter the sphere. And I guess I'll have an encounter with the cowled wizards down in the basement. Yeap.

Yeah, but it wasnt there if I told Tolgerias I wouldnt turn Valygar in. But if you go straight to his house, kill the wizards and soldiers, go upstairs and kill Valygar, there will be an option to pick up his body, and so I did. And yes, you could enter the sphere tho his body disintegrates, but I don't care about that, he's dead right.
