How do I get rid of energy drains on my chracters?

You mean like where the X shows up on the character or you mean level drains?

It looks like up in the character portrait and Anomen has lost all of his spells except for 1st level spells.

ahh, level drain. use a scroll of restoration, a spell of lesser restoration, or head to a temple and get that taken care of ASAP. this will kill you quickly when going against vampires if you don't have at least two casts of that spell memorized and/or some scrolls of it along with you. the scrolls can be bought at the weapons mart.
