Where to use control mind *Spoiler*
I have completed KotoR 5 times and want to use Control mind (or whatever it's called). I there a place in the game where I will "need" the power or should I take something else...

You mean force persuasion??? You have to pick it first as a force power and then new options will pop up in certain dialogues that will allow you to use it. You will know it when you have it. Each dialogue option that you can use force persuade will have (Force Persuade) beside it. You can't just freely "control" the minds of others. It is limited to dialogues.

You are never forced to use it, although u can us eit to wrangle better deals, and convince ppl to do things for you, like not paying for parking or convincing gaurds to let an old man out of a cage, mostly use it if you are evil, bastila doesnt liek u using it
