Propylon Indices

Post by moltovir »

I read the Master Index description at the TES site, and it says "return to the Caldera Mages Guild from any propylon chamber." Does this add a new area to the Caldera Mages Guild or are you teleported to an existing area? I already have a very good mod installed (Archmage tower, great stronghold) which adds a new Archmage Restricted Area to every mages guild, so a new area could mess that up, and i don't want to give my tower up for a teleportation device.

As far as I have understood, teleporting to the Caldora Mages Guild from any Propylon Chamber will either make you appear next to the guild guide or the Folms Mirrel, the NPC that gives you the Master Index.

So I don't think a new area is added to the Guild in Caldera, and therefore your game should not get messed up. But still, as I haven't tried that plugin I can only be 99% sure that is how it works.

I have both of these mods installed, but I have not yet initiated the Propylon quests. One thing I have noticed, though, is that whenever I cast Divine or Almsivi Intervention while in proximity to any one of the access rooms, I end up in Mournhold.

However, I installed these two mods at the same time, so I have no way of knowing if this is the result of a conflict between them, or if it is due to a bug or some other conflict.

Rane is right though, I don't think the Propylon mod adds any additional areas that would conflict with the Archmage Stronghold areas.
