can you have multiple feats/powers active at once?

Post by UserUnfriendly »

just got xbox today, and kotor, and i'm looking foward to evening to play...

:D :D :D

i am thinking of creating a character like scoundrel/counselor, or scoundrel/sentinel, and "fear my mad lightsabre powers!!!" if you look at feats and powers, both have a few powers that significantly add to lightsabre prowess...like master speed, crit strike, and armor powers (hey, its not fun getting hit, you know..)

so if you can have multiple force powers in the que, and have them cast when you unpause, or multiple feats, or both, its going to significantly affect my decision to choose counselor or sentinel...or even guardian... :p

i plan definately to create a character that does insane sneak attack damage, go double bladed, :D and even though lightside, cast a lot of force lightning and death spells...

blast with dreaded force powers, then attack with sabre...

also, can you bring more than one sabre into battle? cause i could then get duelist feat, and switch to deflector blasting sabre, and when i get annoyed, switch to a double bladed to make them FEAR me... :D

yeah, i know i should have bought the pc version, but i am getting a new pc in a few months, and i plan to buy the pc version too..people around here know i am heavily into modding, so how could i not???

I think all your questions can be answered with one word:

YES!

However, if you play lightside and plan on using dark force magic, you will be wasting force points like ****. when you use force powers from another alignement you get a heavy penalty. For example, when my dark force character tried to use Heal, he had to spend 44 Fp instead of 20. but when using lightning, he only had to use 10 Fp instead of 20.

But it would be a waste to take both the Dualist and the Dual wielding feats. because of the restricted number of feats you get. Because a two bladed saber falls in the Dual wielding category, so you have to choose which one you want.

All in all, I think you will have a blast with this build!

The game's so incredibly ripe with cheese as-is that I'd think UU would want to want for something more subtle for his unique talents. :D
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
