in the cutscence where revan reveals himself, where is he? from the landscape i figure that it is korriban, but you can see ratkatan ruins in the background instead of sith.

I think he is on top of the Ratkatan temple. Same place where the dark side ending takes place.

Not exactly. The LS ending takes place just outside the temple, on that big ramp. The DS ending and Revan's unmasking takes place on top of the temple (where you have a face off with Bastila).
