Weird Event At Monestry! (spoiler)

I was at the Monestry and had got to the point where ***** and ***** go off together after my party had shown ****** documents. All was going well until Aruma, Dolon, and a monk stood blocking a doorway in Nonin's area. My characters couldn't get through the doorway and Aruma etc just kept saying thanks and farewell when my party spoke to them. After wandering my party about this area and going to see Sersa a few times, they were still blocking the doorway. I tried fiddling about with my pc but I couldn't get them to move!! So, in the end I had to kill all the monks just to get out of the monestry! I didn't get the chance to do the 8 chambers as I had to kill Morohem, I picked up the Raven's Gate key so could proceed through the Underdark after going back to the Duergar. I thought I might as well pick up the reward for killing the monks although I had originally declined the task!! Weird

Weird, indeed. I'd reload... I'm sure it's nothing on purpose (i.e. you gotta do sg else to gain access or sg) - it must be an accident. Skipping the 8 chambers is a loss... Try reloading, then, and see if that monk still stands there.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I'm fighting Driders now so I'll do the 8 chambers next time round!

It's a good your party doesn't have a reputation like in BG2 or I'd be the scum of the earth now!

If you ask me 8 chambers arent realy that good. For me it is just one boring aspect in this game. there is about 1500-3000 xp from each chamber but i am not sure..

I havent tried to kill those monks.. but that thing is starting to sound quite nice.. due of playing trough it way too many times..
