Family Problems

Chapter 2/3 Spoilers...

I think I've just discovered a new kit; Agony Aunt :D

I though I was a fighter but no; I had to nurse Anomen through his argument with his father, Keldorn has just incarcerated his wife after her infidelities, I have still to rescue my sister and Nalia has just been kidnapped by her jilted fiancee....which I am going to have to sort out....

Does anybody else feel as though they are sorting out everybody's family problems (including my own I suppose (Imoen))?

I don't know how to do it but developing a mod for an Agony Aunt kit would be much appreciated.....

Yours soothingly,

Aunty Natalya

I wouldn't call anybody's kidnapping a "family problem," much less Nalia's; and since you don't know Imoen is your sister at the time of her kidnapping, it hardly counts as family business. As for the Keldorn and Anomen matters, I think they help round out the characters, and provide a glimpse of depth where so many games only provide cardboard cutout party NPCs (or ask you to make the same). In reallife, we can either ignore the fact that our friends have personal problems (and put on a bland smile, never revealing our own), or we can lean on them for assistance and advice. That's life. BG2 simulated this far better than any other RPG, IMO. :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
