need help imprisoning the imprisoned one

Post by flounder »

HELP! I'm at the end of the watcher's keep and I think I've lost the scroll you need for the imprisoned one. Didn't that group outside at the beginning give me that? If so, I've lost it along the way. Where is the scroll, and can I "create" the item in my inventory?

You can kill it, but it's incredibly hard. I think it's easily the hardest fight in the game. Also, if I'm not mistaken, you get more experience from having it let you escape and sending the Knights of Vigil in after him and sealing it up with the Helm Scroll that the woman ghost gives you.
Anywhere you can find a raving lunatic rambling on about his past and how he received the enlightenment from the toads who hail from the heavens, I'll be there.

And no, I'm not on drugs.

I ended up saving and trying both. You do get more experience for going the Vigil Knight route. But I thought the 6 guardians battle right before that was more difficult.

Hmm, I found the battle with big D the hardest. It is a straight out attrition fight with little possibility for tactics, in the 6 guardians one, you can use tactics. I have heard though, though not yet tried, that the group coming after Soulafein is worse because they actually act intelligently. I dunno, right now I am stuck doing chores in CtB...

The group in the level above is worse I think. You can always use spike traps on Demogorgon if you're really stuck (he dies too fast to even start his little speech this way), but not with that group.

pffft. Demogorgon was a piece of cake for me (on the fourth try that is :D ) I just hacked at him with my Undead Hunter wielding the Flail of Ages+5, and down he went.
Spoiler!!! (highlight to read more easily)

Besides, the ritual scroll doesn't work. If you use it you get trapped with him!! So then you HAVE to kill him.
