Where do I find 7th lvl spells?

Does anybody know where to look for 7th level wizard spells? I'd be able to memorize two of them, but haven't learned any so far, b/c I haven't come across any yet...

Well random loot.. merchants... just try find those.. it is easier to play with Sorcerer..

I think the underdark mechants sell some, and in Kuldahar I believe there's a tower where you can buy spells. Unfortunately I've never been able to find anyone who sells level 8 spells like Symbol: Hoplessness which annoys me very much!

well.. i got once that spell in severed hand.. but i think it was random loot..

Sorcerer? No way

I got Great Shout for completing a level at the Battle Square, and that's lvl 8, so not bad

But I still have 2 spare spell slots for lvl 7 charms. I hope I'll find those merchants you mentioned.

I remember having found a ninth level spell (Aegis) when I was not even able to cast 6th level in the ice temple i think... so it's probably random.

The Weidu site (search that name on google) has one download which includes the Collector's Edition Merchant, an Air Elemental in Orrick's tower. Apparently he sells some rather juicy scrolls.

If you're simply getting too frustrated with your finds, you may as well fire up Dalekeeper 2 and adjust your party GP for a scroll of the requisite level value when you reach a merchant location. It's hardly an exploit, since in all fairness the stuff SHOULD be available, but I'll leave it up to you as to whether it's a fair solution.

After thinking... most level 7 spells can be found in Dragons eye and in jungle.. little late..

Yep, yet another ad. for Sorcerors over Wizards. Wizards do make good better multiclass characters though, and all the skill points from high Int. help get your Concentration and spellcraft skill up.

Not to mention bonus feats...being able to have greater focus in 3 spell schools instead of one or two makes you pretty damn effective.

I installed the Bonus Merchants mod, I hope they'll have some nice stuff for me when I get to Kuldahar at last, otherwise I'll burn the whole place down in an instant...

Burning Kuldahar....

Why? well it is quite hard to set fire in that place and Iselore would come and cast rainstorm..

Well, I'm in Kuldahar now, and have no intention to burn it down, but I'm really annoyed. I went to Orrick's tower, met that guy, checked out his spells, did something that added special items to his inventory, but still no sign of 7th level spells!

How on earth is this possible, that I'm near the end of the game and still haven't found a single 7th lvl scroll anywhere???

Same with 8th lvl spells, I only got Great Shout at the Battle Squares, that's all...

You should get some soon.. go to kill quardian.. then check every container.. you should gte finger of death.. and mordecaines sword.. then in dragons eye there is some other spells.. just keep checking every container..

Heh heh.. you wont be saying anything good when you get to dragons eye... Heh heh... Sadly is not anymore nightmare as it was for me in IWD1.. nowdays it is just annoying..
