Please help me with force powers

What happens if you use a dark power like lightning while your character is light And what happens when you use light powers and your character is dark?

just kidding, nothing, actually...but opposite alignment powers are more expensive in force points..

but well worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

force valor and lightning storm is great for putting the hurt on dark jedi..

actually, some powers are such low cost that anyone can use them...like insanity, is cheaper than force wave, to my experience, and usually does more for me, since its a harder will save, than fort save that i use it almost exclusively in first half the game...
