Dantooine NPC Encounters

So I'm in the docking bay on dantooine, I've squeezed every possible ounce of info from Juhani and Canderous, and yet when I stand around in the bay waiting for the encouters to activate, i get nothing! Any suggestions?

level up some more...there is a dialog sequence which must be completed for a specific trigger to activate...you need to level up some more, then talk to juhani and canderous, then take them outside the ship.

Their are as you could say "certain" points in the dialogue where their sidequests will be revealed...Even if they have stopped talking for a certain period that doesn't mean you have done enough dialogue with them for it to happen.

Well, I finally got the Juhani side quest...I should have realized that it would occur after the fourth star map, since the walkthrough speaks of a dialogue problem (although I still got the other encounter as well)

However, does the Canderous encouter have to be triggered on dantooine? because it's kind of doomed now...

no you don't have to be on dantooine for canderous.
